Stevenage FC confirm number of Tottenham u-23 games this season

Hertfordshire side Stevenage FC have confirmed that they will be hosting a number of Spurs u23 games this season, continuing their long-standing partnership with the club.

Below is the official communication released on the Stevenage FC website;


More Tottenham Hotspur U23s games than ever before will be played at the Lamex Stadium through the 2017/2018 season.

Domestic ties against Man Utd, Liverpool and Man City stand out, as do Benfica and Villareal in the International Cup.

  • All kick-offs are 7pm unless otherwise stated.
  • Ticket prices are £5 Adults, £2 Concessions (Over 60s & U16s) and will be available both in-advance and on the turnstiles.
  • Only the West Stand will be open for supporters, subject to demand.

The first game is just over two weeks away and will see Spurs face Manchester United on Friday night and tickets will be on sale Friday 11th August.

Spurs get their season off to a flyer with 2-0 away win at Newcastle.

In a summer which has seen the club come under fire from its own fans and players for the supposed lack of ambition in the transfer market up to now, the Premier League season started with what looked to be a tricky away day to Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle side – who unforgettably hammered us 5-1 in the last game of the 2015/16 season. Three Spurs players to keep an eye on this season.

With Pre-Season now out of the way, our Premier League campaign begins with a tricky looking away trip to Newcastle for the Sunday early kickoff – a fixture in which we lost 5-1 to hand Arsenal second place two seasons ago.

A new season brings new ambitions, new teams, new stadiums and breakthrough players and in today’s article, I have written about the three Spurs players which I believe can make the breakthrough and establish their selves in and around Mauricio Pochettino’s first team this year.
